Health & Safety

At Summit Projects, health and safety is a fundamental part of how every project is planned, managed and delivered. The business is committed to maintaining safe systems of work, clear site controls, and responsible supervision to protect the workforce, clients, subcontractors, visitors and the public.
OUR APPROACH

Structured delivery from start to finish.

The approach is based on practical planning, competent delivery and continuous monitoring on site. This includes project-specific risk assessments and method statements, suitable site inductions, clear site rules, welfare arrangements, and ongoing coordination of works in line with current legal and project requirements.

Competent operatives and specialist subcontractors are expected to understand and follow the relevant control measures for the work being undertaken. Supporting health and safety information can be provided on request, including the company Health & Safety Policy and other relevant compliance documents where required.

Health and safety is treated as an essential part of good planning, clear coordination and professional project delivery on every site.

Safe Project Planning

Every project is planned with health and safety in mind from the outset. The approach includes project-specific risk assessments, method statements, site rules and coordinated control measures to support safe and efficient delivery on site.

Controlled Site Delivery

Clear site standards are maintained through inductions, supervision, welfare arrangements, housekeeping and emergency procedures. The focus is on keeping sites organised, well managed and safe for operatives, visitors, clients and the public.

Competent Workforce

Work is delivered with competent operatives and specialist subcontractors who understand the responsibilities of safe working practices. Training, experience, supervision and clear communication all play an important part in safe and responsible project delivery.

Committed to doing things safely.

We take our responsibilities seriously and continually review our systems, guidance and site practices to maintain high standards, reduce risk and protect people on every project.
