Scope of Works

Summit Projects delivered a full shell, core and fit-out package to create two generous apartments from the existing commercial space, including:
Reconfiguration of the internal layout to form two spacious apartments, each with well-proportioned bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms.
Complete internal fit out, including new partitions, doors, kitchens, bathrooms, floor finishes, joinery and decorations to a modern residential standard.
Construction and finishing of the communal staircase and circulation areas, providing safe, compliant access to both flats.
Creation of a new main entrance and lobby, giving the building a clearly defined residential identity with appropriate security and lighting.

Building Services & Compliance

The conversion included coordinated building services and a strong focus on Building Regulations compliance:
New or upgraded mechanical and electrical services to suit residential use, including heating, ventilation, lighting, small power, hot and cold water, and extract systems within the apartments and communal areas.
Fire-safety measures integrated into the staircase and communal areas, including fire-resisting construction, appropriate doors and a residential fire detection and alarm system.
Ongoing liaison with Building Control to ensure all aspects of the conversion met current standards for residential accommodation.

Outcome

The completed scheme has turned a single commercial unit into two attractive, generous apartments with private ensuites and a well-presented shared entrance and stair core.
