Summit Projects delivered the full shell-and-core refurbishment and consolidation of three existing retail units into a single modern Co-op store for a major London landlord. The works were carried out in a live urban environment, managed end to end by the Summit Projects team and supply chain to strict programme, budget and brand standards.

Key Works Delivered

Complete strip-out of three existing stores, including removal of internal walls, floor build-ups, legacy services and fixtures.
Extensive demolition and structural alterations, including installation of new steelwork to create a single open-plan retail space.
New partitions, joinery to the rear elevation, full plastering and preparation for final finishes.
Installation of new wall, floor and ceiling finishes throughout in line with Co-op’s current retail specification.

Coordination and installation of new incoming mains services, including water and electrical power.
Full new electrical installation, encompassing distribution, small power, general and emergency lighting.
New fire alarm installation to current standards, integrated with the building’s life-safety strategy.
Mechanical installation, including heating and ventilation, designed to support a modern food retail environment.
